Canine Companions for Independence is an incredible non profit that has been providing service dogs for many years. If you are looking for a sweet book for anyone this is it. We plan on giving it to many people this holiday season. And if you are looking for a good non profit to donate to this is one to consider. Visit their website and check them out!

Informative and fun book

Format: Hardcover

The story itself is very informative and playful in its approach to helping the reader understand the process of selecting and training service dogs. The star that was knocked off is not reflective of the product, but the shipping process or the packaging department which delivered another book with a ripped dust jacket. In reality the intended recipient will take that off anyway, so I am not returning it. It seems wasteful. However, if this gift was intended for anyone other than a family member, I would have. Amazon needs to train its packaging departments are better. But I suppose as long as we all keep buying, they will not.
