I have a history of radiation to the head and neck due to cancer. I usually use xylimelts for nighttime which are my go-to. And I can't really sleep without them. But because I use the xylimelts every night, I sometimes get sore gums. I bought this as an alternative. It works well but not as great as xylimelts. It keeps the cheeks and gums hydrated but not the tongue. I still woke up and had to have water because my tongue was dried out.
