I love all Avène skin barrier creams, recovery lotions and i just purchased this "Hydrance" cream. Texture is nice, it's unbelievably hydrating but the scent is overwhelming. It caused me a headache. So I decided to return it. Then I thought I'll give it another try and Oh my.... For the love of God, remove that awful scent. The reason I love Avène product is because theyre unscented, except this one I guess :/

This cream is a great alternative to the more expensive name brand creams. I do not feel as though my skin is greasy or oily after using this product. The cream does not feel thick or heavy on my skin. I am able to put a pair of pants on comfortably after using cream without feeling sticky. The cocoa butter scent is light and not over powering. There are parts of my body that I have to avoid with the cream because I do have eczema, but this is something I have grown up with and I am used to. I have purchased the cream twice, and unfortunately, the second time I bought it the pump top came a little bit destroyed (shown in photo). The product is still fully functional and will not determine from buying this again in the future!
