This USB3.1 gen 2 hub is well made, featuring VIA Labs controller (device id 2109:2822) and is made in China. It looks nice and performs according to the specs. I wish usb-c socket supported TB3/Alt DP cable to connect a display to it, but it is apparently made mainly for power delivery. I think the hub is a good value.

It feels like hard aluminum or something, very nice. Edges are rounded too with just the right sharpness like a macbook. Others would've been plastic.
