French Castelnaudry bowls, 19th CGlazed in the warm golden tones typical of Castelnaudary pottery, these 19th century French bowls are as soulful as they are functional. Their rustic forms, complete with traditional side lugs, tell the story of kitchens where cooking was both ritual and art. I use this as a "catchall". A place to stash things like my wallet and keys when I enter the door, so that I don't use them (I had been prone to that!). It serves it's purpose well. It's both sturdy and attractive, and a good size for a "catchall". Recommended for those like me who need such things.

The quality is surprisingly good but the color is much more orange toned in person.

Quality, Design, Function = 100% Great!

Color: Black Linen

Looks perfect on a lower shelf of living room coffee table. The black outside is classy and the wood top matches the color of my wood coffee table. Sure makes tissue boxes look great! Good that the bottom is magnetic and the box doesn’t slip out if you lift it up. You get what you pay for and this is all great quality. Thanks for such nice addition to our home.
