Exposure 3510 CD PlayerThe 3510 CD player is a top loading design using a Sony CD transport and a neat magnetic puck and sliding lid, housed in a full width aluminium chassis. The conversion is done by 'New Old Stock' Burr Brown PCM1704, a dual mono DAC chip favoured by Exposure, and to my ears is still far ahead of many contemporary designs. I bought this book at launch and it has pretty much become my “bible” for Final Fantasy pixel art. I sew and love making nerdy quilts so when I saw this, it was a total insta-buy. It showcases so much original art as well as newly designed sprites (for both older and newer games). I honestly didn’t know about the newer games being designed as sprites so when I saw this, I immediately got to creating. Beyond this being a great pattern book for pixel quilting, I loved seeing a piece of FF history we don’t get to know about. Also loved the interview showcased. A good book for any Final Fantasy lover collection!

A great book for a fan of the early final fantasy series.

I love this book! I grew up with the NES and this brought back a lot of memories of how as a kid I would get lost in the creativity of what developers of these games made with only some blocks. I love pixel art and this book is great if you enjoy making your own and admiring the work of someone else's and seeing their imagination from some truly great games. This book is small in size but is perfect size to show blown up images of final fantasy pixel characters and creatures, also of places from the games. Also having final fantasy characters from beyond the Nintendo/SNES was a really cool surprise to see if they had been made in that era.
