The top of the ring was originally a Georgian brooch which was converted towards the end of the 19th century into a large cocktail ring. Tests as 9ct gold. The amethyst is foil backed. The ring face measures 30 x 24mm. UK size M US size 6 Good Clean condition. Light scratches to amethyst.
