Ovation 1978 1117 Burst With OHSC - UsedHere is a 1979 Ovation 1117 that looks like it just came out of a time capsule (a humidity controlled time capsule, of course). This guitar sports a 5 stripe body binding around its suburst finished spruce top, has a very comfortable and slightly chunky Mahogany Maple neck with a rosewood finger board, and has a leaf pattern rosette to top it all off. Rather dull.
Format: Hardcover
It seems dull and preachy now but may have been fine when it was written (many moons ago). However, not a patch on the magnificent (at least in my memory as a child) Ferdinand The Bull - still a favourite of mine (am I really that old?) I've recently bought many copies for a number of two-year-old children.
