#22939 - Hand-Hammered Sterling Covered Tureen by C.C. Hermann DenmarkCirca 1950s, Sterling, by C. C. Hermann, Copenhagen, Denmark. Hand hammered, this fabulous covered tureen is an early example of the CC Hermann silversmithy (1949 1992). Displaying a serene form and generous size, it is both functional and decorative, perfect for an understated table setting. Very good condition, with a monogram on the underside noted. Also noted, the handles are of an unknown material, possibly bone, or Hippo tooth.
