WWII U.S. M-1 Helmet Liner Rayon NeckbandDescription This is an original WWII U. S. M 1 helmet liner rayon neckband. Rayon neckbands were produced in six different sizes during the war. This example's size marking has faded beyond legibility; however, it has been compared to a confirmed size "3" and it is just slightly longer. It exhibits nickel plated brass United Carr snaps. This would be an ideal neckband for not just liners with rayon suspensions, but also transitional Inlands and St.

It doesn’t stay in
The pipe keeps coming out. Not worth the money. Not sturdy to hold a top table.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly.
Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration.
Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.

Kinda flimsy…
Thought the assembly was metal, it’s some kind of PVC.
