Size 58 (1941)Description This is an original WWII German first pattern Heer Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) pith helmet, constructed of a fabric covered cork material. The leather headband is stamped size "58", while the underside is inscribed with the manufacturer's marking and production date, "B. K. 41", respectively. Interestingly, the red lining had a functional intent; German engineers believed red material helped dissipate heat and is a common staple among DAK

Good value for the money.

This is a very good quality set. The plastic is sturdy and the colors are nice. The soap dispenser has a good capacity and shouldn't need refilling very often. The wastebasket is smaller than the one I was using which was rated as a 4 gallon size. I would say this one is about half that. The toilet brush was in 3 parts and was easy to screw together. Since I don't use bar soap, I popped out the drain insert from the soap dish and used the base to put the dispenser in. That will keep it from dripping soap on my counter. All in all, good value for money and I will buy a second set.

Happy with purchase

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the set. It seems sturdy and durable. The colors were just as pictured and very nice. The brush handle is a bit short, but that is okay. It took me a minute to get the lid flap in place, however, once I got it on it works as expected. A decent value.
