Fitting Simply insert the blade of a knife under the black original items and pull out of door casing. The new aluminium items should be a tight push fit in the hole. For what it's worth, the quality of the hose seemed good, so that's why I gave 3 stars, but: It did not fit my e90 2006 330i, n52 engine. Took the car to the shop to replace broken OEM hose. I provided the hose. It did not fit, so I ended up paying the shop for a hose, and probably extra time because it sat on the lift waiting for the one they ordered.
