1943 Mae West Life Preserver Type B w/ Dye PackOriginal U. S. life vest made in 1943, inspected in 1944 with its original dye pack. Marked property Air Force, U. S. Army. It is missing the rubber manual inflation tubes but both CO2 cartridge mechanisms are present. The material is a bit on the stiff side, but I would still wear it, but probably would not rely on it. One tab that attaches to the belt is partly torn through. Ideal for a dressing a dummy or as the cherry on top of your aircrew
