Tulip Time - 2Inspiration: Tulips beginning to bloom in the spring. The curved sculpture looks great on its own, in a window or as a candle screen with a candle behind it. Artistic Process: The background is glass made with transparent blue and green with a clear glass on top. The tulips are kilncasted. All were tack fired to the background. The final firing was to form the glass into its curved shape with the bottom ground so it stands level and stable.

I bought two cheaper hoses prior to this hose, and both of them were unusable. One so stiff it could barely uncoil and the other was soft, but would tangle and kink as soon as turned on. This hose is perfect and has neither of those problems - it doesn’t kink or get tangled and it is soft and pliable and lightweight. It’s small when not in use and expands when turned on. The fact that it contracts when turned off, makes it easy to get the water out of the hose.
