The zipper pull is at my right hand side. It is where i would use my right hand to engage and pull it closed. The zipper glides smoothly. The hood is voluminous. There is no string available to control the fit of the hood. As it us the hood is much too large. It makes the jacket look cheap and unfinished. The jacket would be immeasura bly better if the was a bit more fill in the body and a string pull in the face of the hood to bring the fit closer.
