The Wait | Lauren MarttilaLauren Jacobson Marttila wants people to collect her art because they love Nantucket, the ocean and live for that first breath of fresh salty air. She seeks out simplicity and negative space in her photography so the viewers can see themselves in her work. Patient surfers await their next thrill, dotting the water as they anticipate a coming wave in Lauren's black and white photograph, "The Wait". This item is made to order. Please allow 4 5 weeks for

I almost gave 4 stars but this is a very good devotional. But here's why I didn't. the reasons are very minor, I think. 1) I hesitated to buy this in the first place because I was afraid it would overdo football and other sports examples. So far, (I two months in) it's not too bad; just a little more than I expected and usually they serve as good illustrations; 2) sometimes the selected verses have little to do with the meditation for the day. The selected verses are good ones and the meditations are good ones too. Finally decided to buy because Tony Dungy and I have same birthday.
