Although designed for analog signals, this meter can also display digital signals using a PWM signal from a 3V logic microcontroller at 1KHz or faster. The meter's back has two bolts marked Positive and Negative below

It is okay, but the brushes fall through the holes' making them hard to retrieve. The only way to get them out of the holder is to pull up on the bristles or push the handle from the bottom. Both don't work well. My solution is simple, just install a "stop" below the holes. My solution is ugly but works. It took me about 15 minutes to modify.
